Hori Hori Tool - Carbon Steel
The 'Bonsai' brand Hori Hori tool by Sakai Seisakujo in Miki, Hyogo is a practical general gardening and foraging tool. Hori means to dig in Japanese, and this tool is widely used in Japan for wild harvesting of mountain vegetables.
The Hori Hori tool can be used in three ways:
- the pointed end for digging,
- the serrated side for sawing softer material (particularly useful when dividing bulbs/rhizomes),
- the flat side to cut ropes, roots and stems.
It comes with a synthetic leather sheath for safe carrying and storage.
